Overview

Location

The new resort is situated on the beach on Collins Avenue, directly across from the luxury Bal Harbour Shops. The lively South Beach area is mere minutes away, and the resort is conveniently located just 16 miles from both Ft. Lauderdale Airport and Miami International Airport. Additionally, the resort is in the heart of South Florida’s famous cultural events, art fairs, food and wine festivals, activities and nightlife.

Guest Rooms

216 total guest rooms and suites, including 118 king rooms and 34 double rooms, 40 one-bedroom king suites, 20 two-bedroom king suites, three four-bedroom Signature Suites and one two-bedroom Presidential Suite.

The resort and residences are made up of three all-glass towers, which rise 27 stories above an expansive stretch of white sand beach on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort’s guestrooms and suites, housed in the center tower, offer some of the largest all-ocean views on the East Coast, with rooms ranging from 650 to 2,900 square feet, each complete with individual balconies.

In 2016, the resort introduced the Signature Suites collection, which includes three four-bedroom suites, each with four balconies, starting at 2,950 square feet. Two of the suites on the 34th floor can be combined to form a massive eight-bedroom suite, which spans over 7,500 square feet.

Services and Amenities

Amenities include a 14,000 square-foot Remède Spa, two luxurious ocean-view pools – a resort pool for families and tranquility pool for adults – both with special amenities offered every 90 minutes, 16 ocean-view day beds, 29 Royal Cabanas, and 9 private, Oceanfront Day Villas equipped with wet bars, full bathroom and showers, days beds, flat screen TV and butler service; private beach access, 24-hour room service, Athletic Club, 24-hour concierge, iconic St. Regis Butler service with suite reservations, Kid’s Club and much more. The house car, a Bentley Continental Flying Spur is available on a first come basis to whisk guests to any locale within a six mile radius in style.

Food and Beverage

Three distinctive dining venues are offered, including the recently opened BH Burger Bar, which offers a highly curated and customizable menu featuring everything from the decadent Signature Burger to the build-your-own-burgers to gourmet franks, fries and indulgent shakes paired with local craft beer, all in a relaxed, unique space that sets the new standard for casual, yet elevated fare in Bal Harbour. Fresco is a 90-seat casual oceanside restaurant and bar that serves Mediterranean-influenced cuisine just steps away from the beach. Room service is also offered 24-hours a day. The St. Regis Bar & Sushi Lounge features an exclusive selection of the world’s finest champagnes, rare vintage wines, and hand crafted cocktails, complemented by a tailored menu of Sushi and Asian-inspired cuisine. Connected to the bar is a stylish temperature-controlled Wine Vault, an octagon-shaped, all-glass wine room with an extensive 2,400 bottle wine list for private, sommelier-led tastings, or wine gatherings with friends.

In November 2016, the resort will introduce a new indoor-outdoor Greek restaurant, Atlantikós. At the helm is Greece native Chef Anastasios Chasekioglou, who has created a curated selection of some of the most traditional Greek dishes, tailored to Miami. Meant to be enjoyed as a “shared experience”, the Atlantikós menu will take guests on a journey of exceptional flavors throughout the Greek Islands.

Spa and Wellness

The 14,000 square foot Remède Spa is a masterpiece of style and refinement. The Remède Spa features relaxation areas, steam and sauna facilities, a modern ocean view Athletic Club, cold and hot plunge pools and twelve treatment rooms. The Remède Spa offers a comprehensive menu of unique customized and results-oriented treatments. The Athletic Center offers innovative daily wellness classes led by husband/wife team of celebrity trainers, Chris and Tracie Wright Vlaun, who lead oceanfront wellness classes and private personal training sessions.

Event/Weddings Space

The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort offers 11,200 square feet of indoor function space including the elegantly appointed Astor Ballroom and pre-function space, along with five boardrooms. The banquet and event facilities can accommodate over 400 guests. Additionally, the resort features a variety of outdoor event spaces, including patio pool and beach areas, setting the stage for grand weddings and private receptions in true St. Regis style.

Design

Architecture by Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership and featuring interiors by the award-winning interior design firm of Yabu Pushelberg, The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort seamlessly blends Art Deco design elements, fine art and clean, modern lines into masterful design. The resort features one-of-a-kind materials such as South African Movingue wood and Chinese God Flower Stone Marble which can be found throughout the stunning property. The hotel tower has been thoughtfully constructed to allow all rooms to enjoy an ocean view and a spacious terrace, featuring smart design and an inviting, residential feel.

Family

The Sea Turtle Club at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort features well-designed spaces for children of all ages. The Sea Turtle Club incorporates an educational St. Regis children’s learning center, as well as interactive video, computer and table games for older children. Each day a team of certified counselors lead kids in a variety of games activities paired with their interest levels, so no two days are alike. Additionally, a play area for toddlers is available, and an innovative program targeting teens will be offered for adolescents seeking unique experiences in the area. The Kid’s Club is open Monday through Sunday 9:30am-4pm, with Half-Day ($55) and Full-Day ($90) with lunch. Night Camp, perfect for parent’s night out, is offered Friday and Saturday evenings by reservation from 7pm to 11pm ($75) and includes dinner.
