Unscripted Bal Harbour celebrates Miami art. This public art program of the City of Bal Harbour was founded in 2013 to give support to the arts in South Florida and further define Bal Harbour as a vibrant, cultural destination. Unscripted Bal Harbour makes contemporary art accessible to Bal Harbour residents and guests. The program’s critical component comprises two temporary public artwork commissions, one of which can be found in the permanent collection of the Art Museum Miami, as well as four annual Art Chats featuring internationally renowned guests that have included Candice Breitz, Tania Bruguera, Christine Y Kim, Pablo Leon de la Barra, Hank Willis Thomas, Don and Mera Rubell, and many more. In addition, Unscripted Bal Harbour’s Art Access program provides year-round free access to, and private tours of, Miami’s top museums, private collections and cultural destinations exclusively for Bal Harbour residents and guests.
